University of Hull Career Fair

Healthshare were invited back by the University of Hull Faculty of Health Sciences to present at their annual careers fair along with other local health leaders.

Positive feedback was given by their Year 3 BSc Undergraduate Physiotherapy students and lecturers. We continue to collaborate with The University of Hull following seconding one of our Advanced Physiotherapists in a lecturer practitioner role and helping create the Physiotherapy BSc Undergraduate musculoskeletal syllabus launched in 2020.

We are proud of our commitment to help support the regions main Universities with high quality clinical placement provision. We were able to accommodate ten students on placements in 2022/23 within our busy MSK service with a range of clinic types and specialists to work with and well-structured supportive atmosphere to learn within.

Students are very much expected to learn how to be Physiotherapists and not be Physiotherapists on placement with Healthshare. Placements have led to the recent employment on fast track developing Band 6 roles for two newly qualified Hull students fostering further links with HEI’s.
